Melisa Hammett FNP-C
Melisa Hammett received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Gardner-Webb University. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from South University. Her prior experience includes four years of Emergency Medicine as a Registered Nurse. She is fluent in Spanish and serves as the Medical Director of the Agricultural Farm Worker Program. She is passionate about family planning and women’s health, serves as an IUD trainer and mentor for South Carolina and was named a Contraception Champion by the South Carolina Primary Healthcare Association in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, animals, and family.
