Adaje' Pope B.A., CPSS
Adaje’, a native of Scranton, SC, graduated from Lake City High School in 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Criminal Justice minor from Claflin University in 2023. She is currently enrolled in Walden University's Master's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Drawn to psychology and counseling by her own childhood experiences, Adaje’ now works as the Lead Youth Coordinator at Pee Dee Mental Health Center, overseeing the Roads of Independence (ROI) program, where she provides peer support services to youth and young adults ages 16-25. Adaje’ holds several certifications, including CITI Research, Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Peer Support, QPR Gatekeeper for suicide prevention, AAA Driving, and CPR, which equip her to address mental health challenges and respond effectively in crisis situations. Outside of work, Jill enjoys traveling, shopping, cooking, and working out.
