D'Michelle Dupre MD
A medical doctor and formerly a certified law enforcement officer, Michelle graduated from the University of South Carolina and from Duke Univeristy School of Medicine, where she completed a residency in Pathology.  Formerly a forensic pathologist, Dr. Dupre completed forensic pathology training in San Antonio and Miami and has been Chief Medical Examiner for the US and British governments in the Caribbean and worked as an investigating medical examiner in seven US jurisdictions.  She has also been an instructor at the SC Criminal Justice Academy where she taught basic and advanced courses in Crime Scene Investigation,, Sexual Assault, Detective, Narcotics Undercover Techniques and many others.   In addition, she has taught at the South Carolina Coroner's School and in numerous law enforcement jurisdictions throughout the Caribbean and Europe.  She is a guest lecturer at the University of South Carolina Criminal Justice Department, and Adjunct Professor at the University of West Indies School of Medicine where she teaches Forensic Pathology of Sexual Assault, Elderly and Child Abuse to physicians and Forensic scientists.  She is a published author with a recent textbook entitled, "Homicide Investigation Field Guide", and has another book entitled, "Investigating Child Abuse" coming out in early 2015.  She is also Forensic Consultant for CNN Headline News and appears regularly on the network.
