Pam A Collins MSN, CMSRN, RN-BC,
Pam has 40 years of varied nursing experiences which includes nursing administration and leadership, Educator, and Consultant. She received her master’s degree in nursing administration with a clinical concentration in Adult Health. Although Pam works as an independent consultant, she continues to work in a healthcare system as a corporate educator. Pam is dually certified in medical-surgical nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses and is also certified in Nursing Professional Development.
Pam’s accomplishments include published author for journal articles, chapter author for medical-surgical textbooks, and recent author of a medical-surgical certification review textbook. She has been the recipient of various awards and recognitions throughout her career. She has also served on the advisory panel for the American Nurses Credentialing Center and currently serves as a mentor in the American Nurses Association mentor program. Pam speaks nationally on clinical, leadership and legal topics for healthcare professionals. She has served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a flight nurse.
Pam’s pleasures include spending time with her family and friends, cooking, church and community activities, and she especially has a heart for helping homeless individuals.
