Bruce A. Fortnum PhD
Bruce is an ordained Deacon in the Diocese of Charleston. He is assigned to the Saint Anthony Parish in Florence. Bruce completed his Master's of Theology from Saint Leo University in Florida (2016), and a five-year educational program with the diocese of Charleston prior to ordination (2017). He is a graduate of LaSalle University with a BA in Biology, The University of Delaware with a Master's degree in Plant Pathology, and Clemson University with a Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology. Bruce is a retire Clemson University Director and Professor. He has been a visiting Chaplain at McLeod since 2016. He has been active in youth and adult religious education, and the Stephen Ministry. Bruce served on the board of directors of Family Promise (Florence), an organization that worked with young homeless families.
