Kira Adkins MD, PharmD
Dr. Kira Adkins is a native of Charleston, SC. At age 16, Dr. Adkins became the youngest person ever accepted into the MUSC College of Pharmacy’s Pharm.D. program. At 21, she made history again by becoming the youngest graduate. Throughout her four years at MUSC she dedicated time to serving as leader for student organizations, volunteering at local community clinics, and expanding her professional network. She completed a Traditional PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Prisma Health Upstate and is currently a PGY-2 Pediatric Pharmacy resident at Boston Children's Hospital. After completion of residency, she will begin her career as a pediatric hospital medicine clinical pharmacy specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston, TX).
