Description
Students can expect to hear from multiple clinician perspectives about treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). Presenters have worked with patients with OUD in the primary care setting over the past 4 years and will aim to provide students with a practice perspective on management of patients with this chronic disease.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • List the diagnostic criteria and medication options to treat opioid use disorder (OUD)
  • Recognize trends in OUD management
  • Describe new methods of treating patients for OUD (i.e. microdosing)
