Description
This 14.0 contact hour live CEN® Review Course pro-vides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of the emergency concepts on the 2024 CEN® exam through physiology review, concise key points, and sample questions. The course includes the PDB Nurse Edu-cation CEN® Study Guide with 60-question pretest, study and test-taking tips, 175-question post-test, and the concise key points, distributed in class. Day One: 8:30am - 5:00pm Day Two: 8:15am - 5:00pm

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Review the CEN® exam content outline.
  • Enhance study and test-taking skills.
  • Describe pathophysiologic processes, assessment, and management priorities for patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, medical, behavioral, toxicological, and environmental injury/illness.
  • Describe professional issues for emergency nurses including quality management, safety issues, disaster management, ethics, and forensics.
