Description
The Grand Challenges for Social Work is a call to commit to evidence-based and ethical practices essential to addressing and reducing social inequities. The American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare organized this initiative as a way to bring policy makers, researchers, and scholars together in a collaborative space to tackle the most pressing social problems in the United States. In this workshop, participants will develop knowledge and skills related to understanding and addressing the 12 Grand Challenges. The workshop is intended as a space for engaged conversation around the most pressing, contemporary social problems and how to move forward in an ever-changing world.
