Description
Participants will learn about the process of implementing and sustaining telehealth services in their organization. The course has a special focus on implementing telehealth services with rural and underserved populations.
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss business plan considerations for standing up a telehealth service in a variety of practice types.
  • Identify possible resistance and barriers one might encounter when implementing telehealth services.
  • Examine benefits, limitations, and models of care delivery for implementing a telehealth program in rural areas.
  • Review considerations for special populations.
  • Identify strategies for integrating and sustaining telehealth services into practice.
  • Develop a clearly defined strategy for implementing telehealth service(s).
