This program will teach participants the basics of essential oil purity and the safety in using essential oils and blending them.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the basics of essential oil purity and safety in using essential oils.
  • Verbalize the difference between individual and pre-made blends of essential oils and when each is used.
  • List methods of how to make larger quantity blends, including calculations of amounts for ingredients and what materials are necessary to do so, as well as resources for materials.
