This program introduces people to key concepts and terminology related to the LGBTQ+ community.

Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an increased awareness of why and how one should understand cultural competence and seek to do no harm.
  • Identify personal cultural growth points through deconstruction of shame and increased compassionate self-accountability.
  • Identify and apply aspects of micro and macro level work to support both personal and systemic change.
