Description
Join us for an insightful exploration into maternal and child health in South Carolina. Our discussion will review pertinent data, the influence of social determinants, and lived experiences shaping the landscape of poor birth outcomes, particularly in our rural communities. Additionally, we will spotlight impactful programs aimed at fostering positive change, including the invaluable role of doula services. Learn about the scope of doula support, its integration within maternal healthcare teams, and the profound difference it makes in ensuring holistic maternal well-being. Join us as we navigate these critical topics and explore pathways to better maternal and child health outcomes.
