Description
Participants will learn about the five career pathways in the health science cluster. This course includes a pre-test, post-test and evaluation. The module objectives are aligned to the following SC Health Science 1 Standard: Foundation of Healthcare Professions Standard 4: Employability Skills: Use employability skills to enhance employment opportunities and job satisfaction. 4.4 Compare careers within the health science career pathways (diagnostic services, therapeutic services, health informatics, support services, or biotechnology research and development).
Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • List the five career pathways in the health science cluster.
  • Identify which health science career pathway(s) align with educational and professional goals.
