Estimating Future RN Supply and Demand in South Carolina: 2008 - 2028
View document (PDF)
- Description:
- This policy brief summarizes the results of supply and demand projections for the Registered Nurse workforce in South Carolina. Results suggest that the overall supply of RNs in the state is in balance with current levels of demand (based on the projection model assumptions), but that a shortage may develop in the future due to the large number of RNs in the Baby Boom generation that can be expected to retire over the coming decade.
