Description
This program will provide an understanding of how the Code of Ethics guides nursing practice. Ethical concepts and principles will be defined and interactively explored. Ethical dilemmas will be examined, to include strategies for effective management.

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the impact of ethics on nursing practice.
  • Differentiate nursing law and ethics.
  • Recognize situations with increased potential for an ethical dilemma.
  • Utilize strategies to navigate ethical dilemmas.
